BASIC INFORMATION
![]()
Name: Lucina
Canon: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Age: Ambiguous (late teens), but for the sake of having something actually defined I'm going with 18.
Bio: A serious, stoic princess who's had to grow up too fast as a result of the medieval zombie apocalypse taking out most of the human race. Also, when she time-traveled to try and stop it before it happened, she wound up falling in love with the unwitting catalyst of the entire thing. That kind of sucked.
I'll write a better summary later, but for now: her app has the longer version.
SYMBIOTE INFORMATION
RHO - PSYCHOMETRY
By touching an item, Lucina will be able to glean information from its past uses. She's limited to specific events, rather than general overviews, and although she doesn't have full control over what the event she picks up on will be, by focusing on something specific she's looking for she will be more likely to learn something relevant. Regardless of whether she's trying to see something specific or not, her ability has a natural tendency towards more significant events; for example, if she picks up a fork, she's more likely to see the one time someone used it to stab their lover to death rather than the hundreds of uneventful dinners in which it was used properly.
Stage I: Her ability is only likely to be accidentally triggered for very significant events, or if she's thinking about something relevant to the event when she touches something. There's a fairly strong disconnect between herself and the event in question; the knowledge comes in a flash, she isn't affected by feelings or sensations from the memory, and it's very clear to her that she's seeing something that happened to someone else.
Stage II: It's a bit easier for her to trigger her ability without intending to; if her thoughts are on a vaguely relevant tangent, she might pick up on something. The lines are a bit blurrier between herself and the event; while she still gets the knowledge in a flash, it may feel more like a few seconds of a high-speed replay to her, and she may feel phantom pains or dulled sensations associated with the memory, although it's still mostly clear to her that the memory is not her own.
Stage III: She may trigger visions without thinking about something related. While to anyone else, it will be over in a split-second, the same as previous stages, she'll perceive events in the same time it took them to occur, with full pains, feelings, and sensations associated with them - basically, at this stage it feels like it's happening to her, right here, right now, and while she may be able to remember that this isn't happening and it's not hers, it will be significantly more difficult to do so until she's finished reliving it. While only specific objects will set off an unintentional vision, at this point she'll also be strong enough to try to use her power to deliberately see something that happened in a room or a similarly small (10' x 10' or so) space without it needing to be "anchored" to an object; this can't be done more than once a day, and if she succeeds, she'll have a nasty migraine on top of the full array of normal side effects for Stage III.

BROOD PERMISSIONS
Emotional state: pretty fucked. Lucina is very duty-bound, the last light of hope in a world where humanity is nearly extinct, and she's very much used to suppressing her own feelings in favor of what she needs to do and be. One of the first big things she's ever really done for her own happiness was, when she returned to the past, to wind up in a relationship with Robin - who, through no fault of his own, is the one who got possessed, killed her father, and brought down the apocalypse. At her current canon point, she's just seen her father "die" (as it turns out, the hit did not kill him, but she's ten seconds too early for that revelation), which is one of the things that marks The End.
Short version: despair, confusion, and an intense sense of guilt, because she was ready to nip the entire thing in the bud by killing Robin before this could go down, except she couldn't bring herself to do it. And now they're all going to die (she thinks).
:Db
As she's not really in a state to hold back much, pretty much anything that crosses her thoughts right now is fair game.
NEST PERMISSIONS
The first thing anyone will pick up from Lucina is an intense sense of despair, turmoil, and guilt. They may or may not be able to get anything more coherent than that, but she's pretty clearly not in a good place.
More generally: she's a princess, her world is a wasteland and humanity is nearly extinct. Her family is very prominent in her thoughts - most especially her father, but her mother and her younger brother, too. There's a sense of someone else very important, who she both feels betrayed by and feels like she let down.
Also: duty. Duty, burdens, responsibility, the sense of it is overpowering.
MENTAL LINK
A crushing weight - mental, not physical, but it almost feels like it could be the latter; it's that strong. Fire, ruin, and a massive shadow looming over everything; a single light, still shining in the dark through everything.
